These photos of illegal dumping were taken along Seven Devils Road. Under Proposal #3 residents could take this garbage to the BHDS for FREE!!. Even before the layoffs at the road department Commisioner Stufflebean said the County did not have the staff to clean up these sites. Now, with an even smaller staff, this cleanup will need to be contracted out and paid for by ALL residents, either through reduced services or increased taxes. And if the BHDS is closed, or turned into a transfer station run by a private business, the cost to residents for garbage disposal will not go down, and I believe illegal dumping will increase.
